Registered Nurse - Pediatrics

Schedule


Rotating schedule of 4 8-hour shifts one week and 5 8-hour shifts the following week, totaling 36 hours every 2 weeks. Varied start times. No holidays, weekends, or on-call shifts.


Assignment Details


Guaranteed Hours: 32 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 13


Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, with pediatric or ambulatory experience highly preferred.
• Travel experience is required if the candidate does not have ambulatory experience.
• AHA BLS certification required; ambulatory or pediatric certification preferred.
• Must have acute care experience.
• Must provide 2 recent Manager/Supervisor references in matching specialty.
• Current NURSYS verification report showing an active or conditional RN license in the state.
• Flu vaccine required during the season.
• EMR experience preferred: EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients aged 0-22 in a primary care pediatrics setting.
• Administer vaccinations and manage well-child visits, as well as other primary care diagnoses.
• Float to pediatrics department as needed.
• Ensure compliance with vaccination protocols and other clinic policies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system.
