Job Description
Job Opportunity Variable Shift Available Contract Information: Remote Transition Option (RTO) is not applicable during the first 13 weeks of the contract. General Job Duties The position involves performing a variety of ultrasound procedures across multiple specialties including, but not limited to:
- Abdomen: Aorta, IVC, Liver/Biliary, Pancreas, Spleen, and Renal (normal and pathological cases).
- Gynecology (GYN): Breast, ovaries, adnexa, uterus, pelvis (both normal and pathological cases, including post-menopausal evaluations, transvaginal, adult, and pediatric).
- Obstetrics (OB): 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester evaluations, amniocentesis, complications, biophysical profile assessments, gestational age determinations, placental grading, abnormal presentations, and intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR).
- Neonatal: Assessment of congenital anomalies and neonatal head.
- Superficial Structures: Including but not limited to abdominal wall, breast evaluations, focal masses, hematoma, scrotum/testes, and thyroid assessments.
- Vascular: Carotid duplex studies, segmental pressure assessments, upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex evaluations.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an acute hospital setting.
- At least one contract experience as a sonographer.
- A total of 3 years as a full-time sonographer.
- ARDMS certifications in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB), and Vascular Technology (RVT) are required.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be AHA certified.
