Job Description Hotel del Coronado, a 28‑acre National Historic Landmark built in 1888, offers 938 rooms, cottages and villas with 97,500 square feet of banquet space and 12 food and beverage outlets. Following a $550M restoration, the property remains a beachfront legend. We are seeking a Group Reservations Coordinator to join our team. Shift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Union Position: This role is part of the Local Union that requires complete open availability. Full‑time hours are not guaranteed; schedule and hours may vary from week to week based on seniority and business needs. The position will entail working weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities Processes group reservation information including rooming lists, suites, event resumes, and billing requirements. Communicates and verifies information between Meeting Planners, Housing Bureaus, Meetings and Conventions, and Front Office. Answers calls, returns emails and voicemails, and assists guests in booking reservations, using superior property knowledge. Coordinates and implements departmental activities and projects. Audits OnQ PM for reservation accuracy, identifying special requests, coding issues, and billing requirements. Reviews actualized rooms for potential billing errors. Monitors and charges for no‑shows and late cancellations daily. Reviews and audits third‑party reservations and consolidates data. Assists management by booking transient reservations. Attends group‑related meetings. Provides exceptional customer service, responding promptly and professionally to client and team inquiries. Supports special projects and departmental initiatives. Provides administrative support with clerical tasks such as word processing, data entry, filing, and copying. Qualifications Passion for hospitality and spreading light and warmth.
