Job #: 148350 Title: Shipping & Receiving Assistant Location: Mitchel Field, NY Salary Range: 20.00 Position: Shipping & Receiving Clerk Description:
Perform manual and clerical shipping and receiving activities in a warehouse environment while maintaining accurate inventory records and shipment documentation. Support the receipt, verification, tracking, preparation, and routing of materials using established shipping procedures and computer systems. Execute shipping and receiving functions in accordance with transportation schedules and company requirements.

#Education & Job Requirements
*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

#Job Duties & Functions
*Perform manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties
*Operate computer systems to track, log, verify, and report shipments and inventory
*Follow shipping practices, transportation routing, schedules, and requirements
*Receive incoming materials and prepare outgoing materials for shipment
*Pack and unpack finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, and equipment
*Verify quantities, weights, and material identification for incoming and outgoing shipments
*Process freight bills, packing sheets, bills of lading, and related shipping documentation
*Post shipping weights and charges, and route merchandise to designated destinations

*Lift and handle materials weighing 50 pounds or more
