Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

Job Description Job Description The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in supporting patient care within a skilled nursing facility. Responsible for assisting patients with daily activities and monitoring vital signs, the CNA works directly under the supervision of a nurse. This position primarily serves 8 to 10 patients per shift and operates during the PM shift, emphasizing compassionate care and effective communication to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Shift
PM Shift; 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 4 days on, 2 days off; rotating schedule

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and support daily hygiene needs
Monitor and record patients vital signs accurately
Assist with mobility and positioning to promote patient comfort
Maintain clear and compassionate communication with patients and healthcare team
Deliver empathetic and respectful care tailored to individual patient needs

Preferred Qualifications
Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
Minimum of 1 year experience in nursing assistance
Proficient in patient care and vital signs measurement
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Effective time management abilities
