Licensed Mental Health Clinician: Master's Level Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Albert Knapp & Associates in Redondo Beach, CA. As a Licensed Mental Health Clinician, you will work alongside our team of mental health professionals to provide evidence-based play therapy for children and teens with autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent conditions. Responsibilities Conduct play therapy sessions with children and teens to treat their cognitive, emotional, and social functioning Collaborate with parents and caregivers to develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing support and guidance Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to design and implement effective treatment plans Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay current on best practices and research-based interventions Requirements Licensure as a MFT, LPCC, LEP, or LCSW. Must be available to work at least 3 afternoons and evenings 3pm-8pm and Tuesdays 11am-1pm for staff meetings and weekly group consultation. At least 1 year working with children and teens. Preference given to those who have worked in an insurance or government funded practice. Knowledge of evidence-based play therapy and CBT techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with children, teens, and families from diverse backgrounds Strong organizational and time management skills Must like dogs (5lb yorkie works at the office) What We Offer Competitive hourly rate based on years licensed and clinical experience: Licensed under 2 years $39-$44; Licensed 2-5 years $45-$50; Licensed 5+ years $51-$55. All per clinical hour. All training, consultation, staff meetings, networking, and other non‑billable activities are paid at minimum wage.
