Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855

Start Date: 08/05/2026 (orientation)

End Date: Ongoing, 10-14 days/month

Shift: 6am-6pm in-facility, on-call 6pm-6am (24 hours)

Hours/Week: Approximately 40+ hours/week

Employment Type: Contract

Licensure/Certifications: Active Nurse Practitioner license, NRP certification, preferred Board Certified in Neonatology or eligible

Experience: Prior NICU experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized neonatal care in a Level III NICU setting supporting high-risk infants.
• Manage ventilator support, including oscillators and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO).
• Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, spinal taps, and thermal cooling.
• Stabilize infants for transport to specialized facilities as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and specialists.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Document care utilizing Cerner EHR system.

What You Need

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Michigan or eligible for licensure.
• NRP certification.
• Experience with neonatal procedures and ventilator management preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, teamwork, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including on-call shifts.
