The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in providing welcoming and efficient service to guests at our hotel. This position involves managing guest check-ins, reservations, and handling inquiries or complaints with professionalism. Operating autonomously on rotating shifts, the Front Desk Agent ensures a smooth and pleasant guest experience while coordinating with other departments such as housekeeping.
Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Handle reservations and update guest information accurately
- Deliver exceptional customer service and address guest inquiries
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
- Answer and route incoming phone calls
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure guest room readiness
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in hospitality or customer service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with reservation systems
- Conflict resolution abilities
- Attention to detail and time management skills
