Details Med/Surg unit caring for adult and geriatric patients Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00-7:00) Every other weekend (EOW) required Float required with possible occasional charge duties Patient ratio of 1:6 30-minute lunch break required with no skipped meals Requirements Active AL or compact RN license required Current BLS certification via AHA required Fit test required NIHSS certification preferred Minimum 1 year of experience required Level II Trauma experience preferred Travel experience preferred Experience with IV starts, isolation precautions, and wound care/wound vac required Skilled in blood product administration, peripheral line care, and PICC line management preferred Experience with colostomy/ileostomy management and feeding tube care preferred Experience administering heparin, insulin, and PCA preferred Experience with surgical drains, nasal cannula, and oxygen administration preferred Any charting system experience required; Paragon experience preferred Additional Information Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to adult and geriatric patients Must reside within a 60-mile radius or be considered a local candidate Requested time off (RTO) limited to a maximum of 7 days Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel position American Traveler Job ID P-750957.
