Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing specialized speech-language pathology services through both teletherapy and telespeech platforms, this full-time contract opportunity supports student development within a school district setting in Fortson, GA.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students across the district via virtual methods.
• Collaborate with district staff to determine appropriate age group placement based on experience and preference.
• Maintain detailed daily documentation and logs of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Participate in pre- and post-planning days as needed to support continuity of services.
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs remotely.

Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license.
• Valid Georgia Educator Certificate for Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Proven experience providing virtual SLP services in school environments.
• Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and educational staff.

Location:

• Fortson, Georgia (services primarily delivered through teletherapy).

This role requires a commitment of at least 37.5 hours per week from August through May, with potential for involvement in planning days outside of this range. Flexibility and professionalism are key to effectively supporting student communication goals in a virtual setting.
