Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join a local company in the Port Richey, FL area.

The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience in a professional office or business setting (not retail or restaurant customer service) or call center experience. Strong telephone communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience contacting customers regarding past-due accounts are highly preferred.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday
Daytime schedule
Immediate start available

Responsibilities

Handle inbound customer calls and manage customer accounts
Schedule service and delivery orders
Coordinate scheduling with the operations team
Process billing and customer payments
Contact customers regarding past-due accounts and outstanding balances
Address customer questions, concerns, and service issues
Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department
Multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities
Follow up on customer needs to ensure a positive customer experience
Maintain accurate records and provide professional, courteous customer service

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a professional office or business setting
Call center experience preferred
Experience making accounts receivable or past-due account calls strongly preferred
Strong telephone and communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to provide professional work references
Experience with appointment routing or service scheduling is a plus

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
