Barrel House Bartender PositionFrom the moment guests walk into Barrel House, our Front Of House Service Staff epitomizes our spirit-lifting culture!Core ResponsibilitiesBartenders have extensive knowledge of common drinks which they use to recommend drinks to customers, prepare cocktails, pour beers and properly decant wines. Bartenders also entertain customers who sit at the bar by providing stimulating conversation and excellent customer service while filling drink orders for other customers. Their role is to ensure that customers are of legal drinking age and then prepare a requested drink to their specifications.Examples of skills and qualifications for a successful Bartender candidate include:Knowledge of applicable laws and regulationsKnowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktailsUnderstanding of unique and complementary flavor pairingsImpeccable customer service and social perceptivenessAbility to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsivenessAbility to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcoholAccountability in maintaining inventory and processing paymentsPhysical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as lift 50+ pounds.QualificationsEfficiently operate a Point Of Sale (POS) system, including Kitchen Display System (KDS).Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.Must be able to reliably commute to on-site location.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Must be over the age of 21 years old to be a Bartender at Barrel House.Benefits & PerksHealth Insurance (Medical, Dental, & Vision)401k Match Retirement PlanEmployee Meal Discount ProgramWe want people to become their best at Barrel House (BH), working with BH and being a part of BH.
