SAS Grid Administrator

Senior Azure Administrator
Duration: 12+ months with possible extension
Location: Remote (Should be within 75 miles radius of Reston)
Open for Remote: Yes, they only need to be office for meeting in a month (1 day onsite/month)
SAS Grid Admin role
Should have at least 5 years of SAS Grid Admin experience in SAS environment.
Moving all internal assets to AWS
Experience with RDBMS, MSSQL Server, PGSQL, AWS DB Services (RedShift/Aurora/Dynamo etc…)
Good understanding of DB connectivity, tuning and files system will be closely working with Application team.
Must have AWS cloud services experience.
Will review and understand SAS logs to determine GRID errors and whether GRID is functioning correctly.
Backing up and restoring SAS within a GRID environment
Assessing and optimizing performance of the SAS GRID environment
Heavy documentation, process improvement and tuning experience
Scripting knowledge - Python/Shell/Bash would be a plus.
SAS Grid admin certification would be a plus.
SAS Viya experience would be a plus.
