We are seeking an analytical, strategic, and detail-oriented Process Consultant to join our team on a full-time contract basis. The Process Consultant will be responsible for evaluating business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing practical solutions that enhance operational efficiency, quality, productivity, and overall business performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with cross-functional teams to assess current workflows, define improvement opportunities, and implement sustainable process solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing business processes, workflows, procedures, and operating models to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

Conduct process assessments, interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to understand business requirements and operational challenges.

Document current-state and future-state processes using process maps, flowcharts, workflow diagrams, and other appropriate methodologies.

Identify process bottlenecks, redundancies, control gaps, unnecessary costs, and opportunities for automation.

Develop recommendations and improvement strategies aligned with organizational objectives and business priorities.

Collaborate with business leaders, operational teams, technology groups, and subject-matter experts to design effective process solutions.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, process documentation, guidelines, and workflow specifications.

Support business process redesign, optimization, standardization, and transformation initiatives.

Evaluate the impact of proposed process changes on people, systems, controls, costs, and operational performance.

Establish process performance metrics, key performance indicators, and reporting mechanisms to measure improvement.

Analyze operational data and performance trends to identify root causes and support evidence-based recommendations.

Facilitate process improvement workshops, working sessions, stakeholder meetings, and requirements-gathering activities.

Support change management activities associated with new processes, systems, policies, and operating procedures.

Assist with the implementation and adoption of approved process improvements.

Monitor process performance after implementation and recommend additional improvements when necessary.

Identify opportunities to leverage technology, workflow automation, and digital tools to improve operational efficiency.

Ensure redesigned processes align with applicable policies, internal controls, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.

Prepare presentations, reports, business cases, process assessments, and executive-level recommendations.

Manage multiple consulting assignments and improvement initiatives while maintaining project schedules and deliverable quality.

Stay informed about process improvement methodologies, business transformation practices, automation technologies, and industry trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.

3+ years of experience in process consulting, business analysis, operations, process improvement, management consulting, or a related discipline.

Strong understanding of business process analysis, workflow design, process optimization, and operational improvement.

Experience developing process maps, workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions.

Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable process recommendations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong stakeholder management and facilitation abilities.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at different organizational levels.

Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio or comparable process-mapping tools.

Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, BPM, or continuous improvement is a plus.

Experience with workflow automation, ERP systems, CRM platforms, business intelligence tools, or process-management software is an advantage.

Relevant certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, Business Process Management, CBAP, PMP, or comparable credentials are preferred.

Compensation & Contract Details

Annual Contract Rate: $85,000 - $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience, qualifications, consulting expertise, and scope of responsibility.

Employment Type: Full-time Contract.

Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Contract Term: Initial contract assignment with potential for extension or renewal based on business needs, project requirements, and performance.

Work Arrangement: Remote or hybrid, depending on organizational and project requirements.
