This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong understanding of banquet operations./ppCandidates must have prior experience in a catering hall or restaurant and be 21 years old or over to apply. Un-experienced bartenders are welcome to start as a banquet server./ph3Primary Functions of the Job/h3ulliEfficiently and consistently produce high-quality beverages in a fast-paced setting./liliProvide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience./liliThe ability to follow recipes provided by the banquet hall is necessary./li/ulh3Responsibilities: Event Preparation and Execution/h3ulliSet up and break down bar stations before and after events, ensuring all supplies are stocked, organized and clean./liliPrepare and serve beverages according to event specifications and guest requests./liliMaintain a clean, neat, and organized bar area throughout the event./li/ulh3Customer Service/h3ulliGreeting guests with a smile and provide prompt and professional service./liliStrictly enforce all legal procedures related to serving alcohol, including checking IDs and refusing service to intoxicated guests./liliAdhere to all state and local health and safety regulations./liliImmediately report any unsafe conditions, equipment failures, or incidents to management./li/ulh3Teamwork and Communication/h3ulliCommunicate effectively with management and event MatreDs and all staff members./liliAssist with other event-related tasks as needed./li/ulh3Inventory and Financial Management/h3ulliAccurately track and manage bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, and garnishes./liliComplete end-of-event cash-out procedures and report any discrepancies to management./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliJob requirement, 21 years old and over to apply./liliExperience as a bartender in a catering hall, banquet facility, or restaurant./liliKnowledge of cocktail recipes, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages./liliStrong understanding of alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service practices TIPS certification./liliAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining a positive attitude./liliExcellent communication skills./liliRequired to work evenings, weekends, and holidays./liliSommeliers welcome./li/ulh3Physical Requirements/h3ulliAbility to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds./liliAbility to adapt to a fast-paced environment./li/ulh3Its Our Pleasure, join us:/h3ulliBecome a part of a prestigious and supportive team at Grand Oaks Country Club, a leading venue on Staten Island./liliEnhance your experience in an event-driven environment./liliJoin us!
