Registered Nurse (RN) - Tele

Registered Nurse Cardiac Telemetry

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15). Every other weekend required.

Minimum experience required: 2 years. The unit does not accept first-time travelers.

Active registered nursing license

Experience with cardiac telemetry

Skills in TEE, cardioversions, stress tests, and pacemaker management

Knowledge of conditions like NSTEMI/STEMI, AMI, Afib, CHF, Bradycardia

Monitor patients for cardiac complications and changes in status

Provide care to patients undergoing left/right heart catheterizations

Perform and interpret results from stress tests

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care

Educate patients and families regarding conditions and treatments

Full compliance is required to start on time; failure to meet compliance may result in a two-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. If assigned to a major holiday, the traveler is expected to work it, with additional expectations if multiple holidays fall within the assignment period.
