Join us and help redefine how projects are built.While the ideal candidate will be based in one of our Midwest offices, we welcome remote applicants who are open to travel up to 75%Primary Responsibilities: Proposal Development: Collaborate with project directors to respond to RFPs. Prepare conceptual estimates, schedules, and proposal documents. Participate in client presentationsDesign Coordination: Engage in design reviews, provide constructability insights, monitor design progress, and manage scope and cost adjustmentsEstimating & Cost Control: Develop and manage detailed estimates, cost codes, and cost control systems to keep projects on budgetProcurement Management: Develop comprehensive scopes of work for inclusion in bid packages. Support the solicitation and evaluation of competitive bids, ensuring thorough analysis and alignment with project goals. Assess and qualify subcontractors, recommend contract awards, and assist in coordinating major purchase orders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurementProject Planning: Establish project organization, staffing plans, and schedules in partnership with superintendents and subcontractorsExecution Oversight: Direct project schedules, lead site meetings, update timelines, and ensure compliance with governing authorities for permits and inspectionsConstruction Management: Coordinate subcontractors and clients. Manage onsite construction activities ensuring a safe work environment Financial Management: Drive cash flow through invoicing and collections, manage change orders, and oversee subcontractor and vendor paymentsPerformance & Quality: Monitor progress, safety, and quality standards. Address subcontractor performance issues and implement corrective actions as neededTeam Development: Mentor construction personnel, support performance management, and foster professional growthClose-Out: Lead project close-out activities and warranty work to ensure client satisfactionTravel: Ability to travel as needed and align with our vision of engineer-led design-build project deliveryRequired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field10+ years of experience in a combination of construction, design, and project management roles with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects valued between $5 million and $50 million or moreExperience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource managementPrior experience with estimating, construction methods, and project management technologyPreferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)Masters Degree in Construction ManagementAACE (estimating certification) $110,000 - $170,000 a yearThe base compensation range for this position is included in this job posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as relevant experience, geographic location, scope and level of responsibility, and applicable licenses or certifications. In addition to base compensation, eligible members may participate in Foth’s Earned Performance Incentive program and may receive other discretionary bonuses, including On‑the‑Spot recognition awards.
