Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Location: Maryland

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our general adult unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in a psychiatric setting. This role may involve working as a charge RN during shifts without a charge pay bump.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and monitoring.
• Utilize crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques effectively.
• Administer physical hold protocols and manage seclusion procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Conduct psychoeducation sessions and manage behavioral interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of Behavioral Health nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Active RN license in the state of Maryland required; no temporary licenses accepted.
• Experience with Sunrise EMR is preferred.
• Charge RN experience required.
