About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required License: State license required Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS, ARRT-R or RCIS Must-Have: - Call required - Scrubs provided - Rotating day off Description: Local candidates accepted within a 90-mile radius. ACLS, ARRT R (or RCIS), and BLS certifications are required. Previous charge experience is not applicable. Candidates should have experience accessing and managing ports, angioplasty, and cardiac stent placement. Experience in carotid angiography and stenting, catheter/drain exchange, and central venous access is expected. Candidates should be knowledgeable in performing diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures. Experience with various cardiac and vascular interventions is essential. Understanding how to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias is required. Familiarity with sterile techniques and maintaining a sterile field is necessary. Candidates must be capable of using fluoroscopy and various medical equipment. Work involves collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams. The daily patient census is approximately 12, with a focus on adult and geriatric populations. All requests for time off must be approved by management prior to signing a contract. Candidates must provide a state-issued ID prior to submission.
