Wastewater Engineer

Wastewater Engineer Seeking a hardworking and forward-thinking, Wastewater Engineer to join our team. Working together for a sustainable future we assist clients in various industries, including water, wastewater, food and beverage, transportation, private utilities, municipal, industrial, and chemical. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, with 10+ years of civil/ sanitary experience and a concentration in Water and Wastewater treatment technologies
- Professional Engineer's License preferred
- Familiarity with the basic functions in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Knowledge with wastewater treatment modeling software (GPSx/Biowin) is a plus
- Experience in project management
- The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and approachability to work effectively with peers and clients
- Close vision, and color vision ability required
- Safely and effectively lifting, carrying, and moving objects of varying weights
- Bending, stooping, reaching, balancing, standing, and walking for extended periods and maintaining the necessary physical dexterity and coordination
- Working in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, and noise levels at times
- Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Function in a lead engineering role for projects including completion of process and hydraulic detailed design, specifications, permit application, and design engineering reports
- Maintain work scope for project engineering within time and budget parameters
- Develop and complete bench/pilot treatability studies
- Manage treatment plant construction
- Provide onsite engineering and treatment operations support
- Review shop drawing submittals and requests for information during equipment fabrication/construction
- Continue to develop and utilize working knowledge of water/wastewater design practices
- Safely and effectively lift, carry, and move objects of varying weights.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, standing, and walking, for extended periods and maintain the necessary physical dexterity and coordination.
- Work in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, weather, and noise levels.
