Job Summary: This position is responsible for the operation of the encapsulation machine including maintenance (troubleshooting), change over, cleaning. Assists in sanitation control and checks safety hazards.
Responsibilities:
- Operates Soft Gel encapsulation equipment.
- Clean, assemble and disassembles encapsulation equipment and medicine and gel tanks, Hoist and lifting equipment.
- Follows instructions on MBR to manufacture products within company and customers specifications.
- Reports any deviation in process to Supervisor or Manager.
- Follows all company SOP’s and GMP’s.
- Troubleshoots equipment and process to comply with company SOP’s.
- Performs minor adjustments in order to produce product within specifications.
- Fills out MBR and other paper work to comply with company SOP’s.
- Reports any safety hazards to Supervisor or Maintenance.
- Performs any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical/operational working knowledge of production line equipment
- Ability to read, write and understand documentation in English.
- Equipment, process rooms and manufacturing area SOPs and GMPs. record keeping skills.
- Basic mathematical calculation and measurement methods and practices. (Multiplication, Division, Conversions and understand weights and measures).
Schedule: Thursday-Monday, 4am-12:30pm
