As part of the continued expansion of its global credit franchise, the firm is seeking an experienced LATAM High Yield Credit Analyst to join its New York office. Credit investing is a key strategic growth area for the business, with ongoing investment across High Yield, Investment Grade, CLOs, Emerging Markets, and Developed Markets . This hire will play a critical role in deepening the firm's coverage and investment expertise within the Latin American high yield universe.

The Opportunity

Working alongside a highly accomplished team of portfolio managers and analysts, the successful candidate will be responsible for generating differentiated investment ideas across LATAM corporate credit markets. The role offers significant exposure to capital allocation decisions and the opportunity to have a direct impact on portfolio performance within a collaborative investment environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental credit research and financial analysis across the LATAM high yield universe.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models and investment theses on prospective and existing investments.
• Monitor macroeconomic, political, regulatory, and industry developments across Latin America.
• Present investment recommendations to portfolio managers and investment committees.
• Engage with management teams, sell-side analysts, industry experts, and other market participants to develop differentiated insights.
• Work closely with colleagues across broader credit and multi-asset investment teams to identify cross-market opportunities and risks.
• Contribute to portfolio construction discussions and ongoing risk management processes.

Candidate Profile

• Proven buy-side credit investing experience covering Latin American credit markets.
• Strong understanding of high yield credit analysis, valuation methodologies, and capital structures.
• Demonstrated track record generating actionable investment ideas and conducting deep fundamental research.
• Experience analysing corporate issuers across multiple sectors within Latin America.
• Strong financial modelling and credit underwriting skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to thrive within a team-oriented and intellectually collaborative environment.
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are advantageous but not essential.
