Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) position located in Apple Valley, California. This role involves evaluating and treating general acute care patients with a variety of diagnoses, including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, hip fractures, dementia, and deficits in activities of daily living. The primary focus is on ACTIV and upper extremity assessments focused on functional outcomes within a hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Occupational Therapist license; BLS certification; 1 year of acute care experience; current California license; CA license must be in hand; local radius within 50 miles.
• Certifications: BLS
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in acute care setting, with experience in ADL and UE assessments focusing on functional outcomes
• Start Date: 07/28/2026
• Location: 18300 Highway 18, Apple Valley, CA 92307
• Additional Information:
  • Shift: 5x8 hours
  • Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
  • RTO (Recommended Time Off) requests must be included at time of submission
  • Candidate must include responses regarding prior employment at Providence facilities, recent LA fire card, and references
  • Mandatory holidays: Must work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Local candidates preferred; local radius is 50 miles
  • Must disclose license and background check results upfront; no open license hits will be approved
  • Travel and float within the state are expected, refusal may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
