Job Summary: This strategic leadership role is dedicated to advancing organizational performance, optimizing operational systems, and enhancing the patient experience within a regional healthcare setting in the Midwest. The Administrator of System Excellence and Operations leads process improvement initiatives, project management efforts, and leadership development programs to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Experience Oversight: Lead initiatives to boost patient satisfaction and engagement. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to streamline care delivery and service touchpoints. Monitor and enhance patient experience metrics aligned with organizational goals. Ensure timely and accurate submission of experience data to regulatory programs such as CMS Inpatient and Outpatient Quality Reporting, Value Based Purchasing, Anthem Scorecard, Leapfrog, Healthgrades, and ACHC.
• Systems Excellence: Drive the implementation of performance excellence frameworks across departments. Integrate Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies to improve operational efficiency. Align systems with strategic objectives and regulatory standards. Develop and manage a comprehensive framework for performance excellence and execute strategies to embed these principles into organizational processes.
• Process Improvement: Identify and prioritize opportunities for process optimization. Facilitate cross-functional improvement teams and deliver measurable outcomes. Foster a culture of innovation and accountability in operational practices.
• Project Management: Oversee strategic and operational projects from initiation through completion. Develop project charters, timelines, and resource plans in partnership with stakeholders. Track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely achievement of project goals.
• Leadership Development: Conduct annual training needs assessments and design leadership development programs. Mentor emerging leaders and support succession planning. Maintain internal communications to promote awareness of development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in hospital operations, performance improvement, or leadership development.
• Proven success managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent is preferred.

Collaborates closely with management councils, medical staff, department directors, and associates. Acts as a key liaison between operational teams and executive leadership.

First shift, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek.
