School Nurse

Registered NurseWe are searching for a Registered Nurse to assist the Health & Wellness Manager support our Center wellness program.Engage in providing health services for all students and follows departmental programs and standards that meet all DOL, PRH, Center, and The Bizzell Group requirements. Assist the Wellness Department in the delivery of health services, support, and education that will enhance student employability and help students maintain a healthy lifestyle. Assist in ensuring the quality health services are delivered in a professional, caring, and cost-effective manner. Assist the Wellness Department with focusing on wellness and disease prevention. Assist with ensuring students with disabilities receive planned accommodations Deliver quality health services in a professional, caring, and cost-effective manner.Responsibilities:Dispensing prescribed medications.Assisting in physical examinations of all new enrollees.Ordering all drugs and medical supplies and storing when received.Assisting the Director with monitoring and ordering of medical supplies.Documenting individual charts for all enrollees seen by medical or dental personnel.Ensuring that all enrollees return for special treatment or medication ordered by a doctor.Keeping log on all infirmary patients.Initiating and monitoring weight improvement programs.Working toward meeting position performance goals.Following CDSS plan and Code of Conduct system daily.Complying with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulations, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures.Maintaining good housekeeping in all areas and complying with safety practices.Attending regularly scheduled staff meetings.Screening and attempting to solve all student problems before referring them to the Health & Wellness Director.Modeling, mentoring, monitoring appropriate Career Success Standards.Helping students become more employable through continuous reinforcement.Participating in PRH mandated staff training.Performing other duties as assigned.Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Experience:A minimum of one year of related experience or training is required.Education:Active, unrestricted RN license to practice in a state where Center is located.Minimum of an Associate's Degree in nursing.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:State Professional Nurse License (RN).Current BLS/CPR certification.Valid State Driver's License.
