LPN/LVN – Medical Surgical | Travel Assignment

Facility: Rainy Lake Medical Center & Rural Health Clinic
Location: International Falls, MN
Discipline: LPN/LVN
Specialty: Medical Surgical / Rural Health Clinic
Assignment Type: Travel
Contract: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 Hours/Week Guaranteed
Shift: Day Shift – Traveler preference of 4×10s or 5×8s
Weekend: Occasional Saturday, approximately once per month for Dermatology Clinic
Holidays: No holiday requirement

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Rural Health Clinic setting.
• Assist providers and nurses with patient assessment, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and communicate changes appropriately.
• Assist with clinic procedures and support day-to-day patient flow.
• Float within the clinic to assist other providers or nurses as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow facility policies, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.

Requirements

• Active Minnesota LPN/LVN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Previous LPN/LVN clinical experience
• Ability to work independently in a Rural Health Clinic environment
• Negative TB test
• No vaccination requirement specified
