We are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Sales Executive Data Center to lead direct sales efforts within the rapidly growing data center and critical power market for our products and energy solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding strategic customer relationships, accelerating revenue growth within existing accounts, and identifying and securing new business opportunities across the North American data center ecosystem.

This role will focus on building relationships with key decision-makers across data center operators, hyperscalers, colocation providers, data center developers, infrastructure providers, engineering firms, system integrators, electrical contractors, and other organizations requiring reliable battery and energy storage solutions for critical infrastructure.

The primary function of this role is to accelerate growth within existing strategic accounts, develop new business opportunities, and deliver profitable top-line revenue growth consistent with budgeted requirements and company objectives.

The Senior Sales Executive Data Center will develop and manage data center customer base throughout North America, with a particular focus on organizations utilizing batteries, backup power, DC power, UPS systems, energy storage, and other critical power applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate within the core values supporting our mission and strategy.
• Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders including C-Suite influencers.
• Identify and close new opportunities for market share within existing client base and through a vetted group of customer targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies, manage client relationships, and oversee the sales process from prospecting to contract execution.
• Screen potential new business opportunities for strategic fit, potential, profitability and growth. Maintain pipeline of 3x sales target and report on prospective activity and results.
• Close new business opportunities by coordinating communications, deal requirements, negotiating contractual commitments and gaining necessary client commitments.
• Participate in strategic planning process to ensure alignment with goals.
• Understand the competitive landscape, market trends and channel structure to institute changes in response to changing market conditions.
• Generate and execute customer growth plans while measuring success against targets.
• Manage administrative procedures in the sales process and supports cash collection and project management activities, where required.
• Prepare sales contracts, proposals, and reports for management of business opportunities.
• Attend industry conferences and trade shows to promote the brand and develop a network of potential influencers and customers.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
• Other duties as required and requested by senior management.

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 10+ years of proven customer-facing sales success of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Direct knowledge of and proven sales experience within the defined vertical preferred.
• Experience with battery technologies and energy storage systems a plus.
• A strong network within the defined vertical segment.

Skills:

• Demonstrable negotiations skills and an effective sales process
• Enthusiastic, positive, initiative-taking and have strong leadership skills
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Competency within Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
• Experience with CRM solutions for productivity, efficiency, and communications.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Physical Demands/Conditions Requirements:

Ability to travel up to 40% of the monthly work hours.
