Job Description
As a Security Officer - Truckyard Access Screening in San Diego CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. You will remain visible conduct routine patrols and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by teamwork integrity and innovation this role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact every day.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials visitor logs and/or delivery information in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report relevant details to supervisors and/or local authorities when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
