Operations Coordinator – 1115 Waiver Program Position Type: Full Time About NSIPA Network Solutions IPA (NSIPA) is a leading New York–based Independent Practice Association with a diverse, multi-specialty provider network. The organization has grown to more than 600 physician members , serving over 100,000 patients across New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties. We achieve this by collaborating with payers to deliver Quality Incentive Programs, Shared Savings arrangements, and Risk-Based Contracts. Contracted with over 21+ Payers for over 600+ Providers. NSIPA provides a comprehensive suite of services, including credentialing and network operations, provider engagement, and contracting; care coordination and member outreach; and provider-and patient centered programs. As part of New York State’s 1115 Medicaid Waiver, NSIPA plays a key role in identifying, screening, and addressing health-related social needs by connecting Medicaid members to community-based resources and care supports. These services are designed to strengthen provider efficiency, address health related social care needs, and advance value‑based care and population health opportunities. Position Overview We are seeking an organized and solutions-oriented Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of a rapidly growing 1115 Medicaid Waiver program. This role will serve as a key operational resource, helping ensure smooth execution of program initiatives, resolving platform and workflow issues, coordinating special projects, and supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has experience working within Medicaid, managed care, care management, population health, social care, or healthcare operations environments and thrives in a fast-paced setting where priorities can shift quickly. Operational Support Support the daily operations of the 1115 Medicaid Waiver program. Monitor operational workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Assist leadership with operational planning, implementation, and execution of strategic initiatives. Track key operational metrics and assist in preparing reports for leadership. Ensure operational processes are documented, maintained, and consistently followed. Platform & Systems Support Serve as the first point of contact for internal platform and workflow issues. Troubleshoot operational and system-related challenges and coordinate resolution with internal and external stakeholders. Track, document, and escalate technology or system concerns as needed. Assist with testing, implementation, and rollout of new workflows, platforms, and operational enhancements. Project Coordination Coordinate special projects across multiple departments and stakeholders. Manage project timelines, action items, and deliverables. Support implementation of new programs, services, and operational initiatives. Assist with onboarding new partners, vendors, and operational pathways. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with screening/navigation, nutrition, social care, community outreach, compliance, quality, and leadership teams. Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues. Support operational readiness for new program launches and expansions. Administrative & Process Support Maintain operational trackers, dashboards, and project documentation. Prepare meeting agendas, summaries, and follow-up action items. Assist with policy, procedure, and workflow development. Support audits, compliance reviews, and operational reporting activities. Experience supporting Medicaid waiver programs, care management organizations, health plans, IPAs, MSOs, or community-based organizations. Experience working with CRM platforms, referral management systems, or healthcare technology platforms. Knowledge of New York Medicaid and 1115 Waiver initiatives. Experience coordinating cross-functional operational projects. Required Qualifications 3+ years of healthcare operations experience. Experience working with Medicaid, Managed Care, Care Management, Population Health, Social Care Networks, or Value-Based Care programs. Strong project coordination and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and operational tracking tools. Knowledge of AI tools Why Join NSIPA?
