Human Resources Director

Working directly with the Independent Operator and Executive Director, you'll help create an exceptional employee experience from the moment a team member is hired through every stage of their journey with us. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional seeking meaningful work with great work-life balance. We're looking for a highly organized, people-focused professional who thrives behind the scenes while building strong relationships throughout the restaurant. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, proactive, and passionate about supporting both people and operations. Responsibilities Lead the onboarding process for all new team members, ensuring a welcoming and organized experience Coordinate employee benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and other benefit programs Process payroll accurately, including deductions, bonuses, and other payroll-related transactions Manage all team member uniform orders and inventory Complete team member check-ins and performance evaluations as directed by the Executive Director Maintain accurate and up-to-date employment records, including evaluations, food handler certifications, onboarding documents, and termination paperwork Process invoices and prepare end-of-month reporting packages Assist with team scheduling and staffing needs as needed Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information Support restaurant leadership with HR initiatives and administrative projects Perform other duties as assigned by the Operator Qualifications Previous Human Resources, Payroll, Office Management, or Administrative experience preferred Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment High level of integrity and professionalism Experience handling confidential information with discretion Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems Positive attitude with a servant leadership mindset Passion for developing people and creating a positive workplace culture Benefits Competitive pay Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid Time Off Free meal with every shift (subject to company policy) Flexible scheduling Closed Sundays Scholarship opportunities Gym membership reimbursement Cell phone reimbursement A fun, team-oriented work environment where you can positively influence others Learn firsthand from an experienced Operator and Restaurant Leadership Team Intentional coaching, growth, and development to help you reach your professional goals Why You'll Love Working at Chick-fil-A People First – You'll play a key role in creating an outstanding experience for every team member.
