About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its U.S. Middle Market Investment Banking division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business development, leading vertical market strategy, and overseeing transaction execution. This role requires a professional with at least 10 years of senior investment banking experience, including a strong background in middle-market M&A, and established relationships in the business services, consumer, healthcare products, or software and technology sectors. The Managing Director will be expected to originate and execute M&A and financing engagements, deepen senior client and sponsor relationships, and develop high-performing deal teams. Key responsibilities for the Managing Director include mobilizing the company platform, building and developing talent, and upholding governance and professional standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating business, solving client challenges, and delivering practical recommendations. They should also possess executive communication and influence skills, as well as the ability to lead under pressure and demonstrate professional integrity. The role demands a leader who is values-driven, with a strong emphasis on trust, teamwork, and accountability. The Managing Director will be a key player in the company's mission to provide differentiated advice, new mandates, and durable client relationships in the middle market investment banking space.
