Your Responsibilities in This Role

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and designing tailored care pathways
• Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues alongside physicians or independently (as credentialed)
• Guiding patients and families on health maintenance, prevention, and effective disease management
• Prescribing necessary treatments and medications within your practice scope

• Accurately documenting patient information within electronic health records (EHR)

Essential Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Mandatory Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in New Mexico
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure them within 90 days)
