Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license for the state of Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered
• Experience in school settings or pediatrics highly advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals
• Maintain accurate session notes, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to promote student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all students
