Duties
Serve as an interdisciplinary Cost Engineering subject matter expert in the national Mandatory Center of Expertise for Cost Engineering.
Responsible for developing and coordinating cost engineering products, practices and standards for Civil Works and Military Construction (MILCON) projects.
Utilize, and train others in using, cost engineering software supported in the Tri-Service Automated Cost Engineering Systems (TRACES).
Provides expert advice on all matters pertaining to the cost engineering and cost estimating of Civil Works and Military Construction (MILCON) projects.
Develop and participate in briefings and other senior level meetings to articulate issues with cost estimates developed by others that require certification by the national mandatory center of expertise for Cost Engineering.
Work closely with staff members of various engineering disciplines across several organizations.
