Full Remote - Partner (Real Estate/ Intellectual Property)

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience and portable business Summary: Our client is a highly respected boutique business law firm with approximately 35 attorneys serving clients throughout New York and beyond. The firm is known for providing sophisticated legal counsel to middle-market companies, financial institutions, developers, entrepreneurs, and business owners across a broad range of complex business matters. The firm combines the personalized service of a boutique practice with the depth of experience typically found at larger firms. Its multidisciplinary platform includes attorneys practicing in commercial litigation, corporate transactions, commercial and residential real estate, intellectual property, employment, ERISA, tax, executive compensation, trusts and estates, and banking law. We are seeking an accomplished Commercial Litigation Partner with a strong reputation in the New York legal market and a minimum $1.5 million portable book of business to join our growing partnership. Practice Overview: The Commercial Litigation Group represents clients in sophisticated, high-stakes disputes involving: Complex commercial and business litigation Contract and partnership disputes Corporate governance and shareholder litigation Banking and financial services litigation Commercial and residential real estate disputes Trust and estate litigation Business torts Injunctive and emergency relief proceedings Alternative dispute resolution, mediation, and arbitration Clients include middle-market businesses, privately held companies, developers, financial institutions, investors, fiduciaries, and high-net-worth individuals. Responsibilities: Manage a substantial portfolio of sophisticated commercial litigation matters from inception through trial or resolution. Continue developing and expanding an established client base. Maintain and grow a portable book of business. Serve as a trusted legal advisor to business clients across multiple industries. Mentor and develop associates while helping expand the firm's litigation practice. Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, real estate, employment, tax, trusts and estates, and other practice groups to provide comprehensive client service. Participate in firm leadership, strategic planning, and business development initiatives. Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school. Active membership in the New York State Bar. Significant experience handling complex commercial litigation. Minimum portable book of business of $1.5 million. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between [$500,000 – $700,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
