Production WelderOnin Staffing in Creedmoor is looking for a Production Welder for a client in Creedmoor that fabricates truck parts. If you have 2+years of experience in production welding and are open to working 1st or 2nd shift, this is the perfect opportunity for you! 1st shift hours are Monday-Friday 5am to 12:30pm 2nd shift hours are 3pm to 1:30am Monday-Friday. Pay between $24.10 and $27.66 an hour based on years of experience and 2nd shift comes with a $2 shift differential. Free Telemedicine.As a production welder you are responsible for hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products. Weld components in flat or vertical positions. Examine workpieces for defects. Measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment. Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited school is required. Accreditation should be from the US Department of Education approved agency. Will be verified by 3rd party.
