• 1st shift
  
• 6:00 AM-2:00 PM
  
• Daily or weekend overtime may be required
  

Maintenance Planner Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
• Previous maintenance-planning, purchasing, inventory, or administrative experience preferred
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred
  
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
  
• Ability to learn and use a computerized maintenance management system
  
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  
• Self-directed, dependable, and detail-oriented
  
• Strong communication and vendor-coordination skills
  
• Availability to work daily or weekend overtime as needed
  

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  
• Maintain accurate records and inventory for purchased maintenance parts.
  
• Enter and update information in the computerized maintenance management system.
  
• Generate preventive-maintenance reports.
  
• Send tools and equipment to outside vendors for repair.
  
• Verify inventory levels for non-production parts.
  
• Assist with reconciling procurement-card purchases.
  
• Research vendors and update the supplier database.
  
• Contact suppliers and subcontractors regarding purchased products and services.
  
• Monitor purchasing documentation and follow up on outstanding orders.
  
• Maintain office supplies for the plant.
  
• Organize maintenance records, reports, and related documentation.
  
• Provide administrative support to the purchasing and maintenance departments.
  
• Complete additional assignments provided by the Maintenance Manager.
