Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job

Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg, travel assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. Start date 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,889-$2,013 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m.). The assignment is in a clinical care setting with frequent float to Med-Surg units as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients across Med-Surg units, observing for changes in condition
- Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry data; respond to arrhythmias or other telemetry findings per protocol
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; manage IV therapy and basic care interventions
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient education
- Float to additional Med-Surg units as needed while maintaining patient safety and quality of care

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio
- Current BLS certification
- Epic EMR proficiency required (refresher or on-the-spot coaching not acceptable)
- Minimum 3 years of Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience; ability to read Telemetry and pass a day-one competency assessment
- Ability to work night shift and float between Med-Surg units
