Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk Visitor Registration in Atlanta GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution location you will greet visitors manage access control monitor alarm systems and provide outstanding customer service. You will help maintain a professional welcoming environment while supporting security-related procedures and communicating clearly with staff and guests. What Youll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees visitors and clients at a front desk location within a financial institution following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Greet and screen visitors verify identification and appointments issue visitor credentials and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access to the facility manage incoming calls and deliveries and direct guests to appropriate personnel or designated areas.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain awareness of activity at the front desk and surrounding entry areas to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
