Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: Nashville, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role involves closely monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and overall well-being.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Perform advanced nursing procedures such as central line insertion, arterial line insertion, and chest tube placement.
• Document all patient care activities and maintain compliance with hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Previous ICU experience is required.
• Advanced skills in procedures performed on the unit.
