VCA Coral Animal Hospital is hiring Client Service Representatives to join our three-doctor practice in beautiful southwest Florida!

Our hospital has been serving the Fort Myers community for over 50 years. We are AHAA accredited, Cat Friendly, and we believe in providing the best possible care to our patients. We are a small animal, avian and exotic practice with a large boarding kennel and groomer. We have a separate building for cat boarding and grooming.

What You'll Do

As the face of VCA, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control)
• Hospital maintenance and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all timesboth inside and outside
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence
