Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. 10 months of Telemetry Unit experience. Experience with Epic is preferred. Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred. Requirements: Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Local & travel allowed. Candidates living COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services. Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. All lab items requested during onboarding must be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract. Candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred. Unit Details: Ratios are 1:4 on days and nights and 1:5 on weekends. Most admissions come from the ED, ICU, or PACU. Dedicated mentors are available for new caregivers. Works closely with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy using an interdisciplinary team approach. Fast-paced neuro/tele unit caring for TIA/stroke, trauma, epilepsy monitoring, subdural hematoma, and neurosurgical patients. Dedicated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit with continuous EEG monitoring. Neurosurgical cases include ACDF, TLIF, XLIF, and craniotomy. Shift & Scheduling: No call. Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
