Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care
Total Staffed Beds: 379
Level II Trauma Center
Float Required:Yes
Note: To sister ICUs (SICU, CICU, NSICU)
Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: Minimum 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
- CRRT
Chemotherapy administration
Special Equipment:
- CRRT (Prismaflex/Prismax)
- Masimo hemodynamic monitoring
- Ambu bronch/intubation equipment
- Verathon bladder scanner
- Spacelabs patient monitoring
Patient Diagnoses:
- Endocrine disorders (DKA/HHS, hypoglycemia)
- Respiratory Disorders (COPD, ARDS, Respiratory failure/distress)
- GI/GU disorders
- Renal disorders (AKI, CKD, renal failure)
- Suicide ideation/Substance Overdose
- MODS
- Sepsis/Septic Shock
- Post Cardiac Arrest
- Stroke
Requirements
1 year experience
Active TX RN License
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
Travel experience required
EPIC required
