Key Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas
• Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Flexibility and a collaborative approach in working with educators, parents, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Serve as a resource for teachers and families, providing strategies for language development and support
• Monitor and communicate student progress to appropriate stakeholders
• Stay current on best practices and continuing education in school-based speech pathology
