Our team values accuracy, professionalism, and compassionate service. We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support our revenue cycle operations. Position Summary The Billing Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of medical billing, including claim submission, payment posting, and follow-up on outstanding claims. The ideal candidate has experience with OB/GYN billing, understands payer guidelines, and can work independently while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities Submit accurate and timely insurance claims (electronic and paper) Review and resolve claim rejections and denials Follow up with insurance companies on unpaid or underpaid claims Post payments, adjustments, and patient payments Verify patient insurance and benefits as needed Work accounts receivable reports and aging Communicate with patients regarding billing questions and balances Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations (CPT, ICD-10) Collaborate with clinical and front office staff to resolve billing issues Qualifications 2+ years of medical billing experience (OB/GYN preferred) Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance guidelines Experience with EHR/PM systems (eClinicalWorks, Athena, or similar preferred) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience in women's health or specialty practice billing Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or similar certification (a plus) The Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
