Behavior Support Specialist

Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) - Home & Community (Part‑Time → Full‑Time Path) Part‑Time with Growth Opportunity | Weekday Availability | Lancaster, CA | $19.00-$25.00 per hour. Role Overview As a Part‑Time Home & Community Behavior Technician, you’ll deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural settings, including homes, schools, and community environments. You’ll work under BCBA supervision to support skill development and positive behavior change while gradually building experience and hours toward a full‑time schedule if desired. What You’ll Do Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision. Implement treatment plans across home, school, and community settings. Use play‑based, individualized strategies to engage children. Collect accurate session data and progress notes. Collaborate with families, school staff, and clinical supervisors. Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills. Support skill generalization across environments. How Success Is Measured Consistent, compassionate engagement with children and families. Reliability across assigned sessions and locations. Accurate data collection and documentation. Openness to feedback and professional growth. Communication and teamwork. Pay Range Hourly Rate: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on education and experience. Qualifications & Essential Job Functions Minimum age of 18. High School diploma or GED required. Ability to actively engage in child‑centered play and therapeutic activities. Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50lbs, bending, kneeling, squatting, and responding appropriately to challenging behaviors. Reliable transportation and ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region. Valid driver’s license and punctual attendance. Comfort working across home, school, and community settings. No prior ABA experience required – training provided. Experience That Transfers Well Childcare or education (nanny, tutor, paraprofessional). College students in psychology, education, social work, or related fields.
