Onsite Support Representative

Onsite Support Representative Palmdale, CA Job Overview As an Onsite Support Representative, you’ll work as an on‑site employee on the CribMaster team, performing hardware and software support tasks and ensuring reliable operation of CribMaster machines. Responsibilities Perform repair, substitution, or replacement of faulty hardware; install, reinstall, or reprogram software as necessary. Conduct testing and error checking of solutions and perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and software. Document work performed in the customer ticketing system. Follow up with customers after solutions have been implemented. Provide entry‑level support for hardware, Automated Tool Room, RFID, and CribMaster related computer issues. Qualifications Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and software components and practical knowledge of assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of all hardware components. Ability to thoroughly learn all mechanical components of CribMaster hardware machines; familiarity with manufacturing and inventory is a plus. Ability to learn installation and setup of CribMaster and ATR applications, and possess troubleshooting skills in hardware and software components. Mechanical knowledge of tools for hardware repairs and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Bachelor’s Degree or two years of work experience troubleshooting for customers in a technical environment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and HP PC hardware. Must be able to pass a Government Secret Clearance.
