The rate offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Hourly Rate:$23 - $27/hr.OVERVIEWAs a Test Intern you would be specifically working on Automated Functional Test Equipment, Programming Software, and Hipot Test Equipment. As a programmer and developer for these systems you will be developing assembly specific test programs that will be used in the manufacturing process. Along with programming, you will need to interact with other personnel on the team including the team leader, other engineers and manufacturing technicians.RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the development (or installation) and sustains (ECO support) test and inspection programs for one or multiple manufacturing test platformsSupport the development of Specific Function Training, Assembly Build Instructions, or other training to support to operation of the equipment for the Operators or Manufacturing Test TechniciansSupports manufacturing Operators and manufacturing Technicians on troubleshooting and debugging test equipment, test software and product supporting root cause failure analysisSupport continuous improvement through data monitoring of yields or cost down opportunitiesWork with planners and manufacturing Supervisors/Leads to support established production schedule prioritiesLead test/program acceptanceLead calibration and preventative maintenance of equipmentRecognize problems from test procedures and/or test results and make appropriate recommendationsAble to work from specifications, technical manuals, schematics, and verbal or written instructions.Able to compile and record test results.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSStudent working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related Engineering field for entire duration of internship.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSJunior level statusGPA: 3.0 or higher is preferredExcellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skillsStrong communication skillsThis document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform.We are pleased to provide reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities or special requirements.
