Position: Operations Specialist

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Assignment: ASAP start- 6/28/2027

Pay Range: $21.03 hourly, paid weekly.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm

Fully Onsite : Please note that this role is required 5 days in office

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Loan Operations Specialist to support the booking, funding, and administration of commercial loans. This role is responsible for accurately setting up new commercial loan transactions, reviewing legal loan documentation, funding loans, and maintaining client records within established timelines.

The ideal candidate has previous banking experience, understands commercial loan documentation, and thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment where accuracy is critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Book and fund commercial loan transactions accurately and within required service levels.
• Review and interpret credit agreements and legal loan documentation.
• Set up and maintain loan records, billing schedules, pricing options, and client data.
• Perform loan administration activities including payment processing, loan maintenance, reconciliations, and quality reviews.
• Ensure all loan information is entered accurately into internal banking systems.
• Partner with Document Administrators, attorneys, and internal business teams to resolve documentation issues.
• Maintain strong working relationships with business partners while ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Meet productivity, quality, and accuracy goals with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

• Previous banking experience.
• Experience reviewing credit agreements or legal loan documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Financial Booking experience.
• Commercial loan operations or commercial lending experience.
• Loan IQ experience (highly preferred).
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
