Production Maintenance Technician IV Location: Waukesha, WI Schedule: AWS Days (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Hourly Range: $30 – $38 per hour Job Overview Amentum seeks a Production Maintenance Technician IV responsible for responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive and corrective maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment on all production‑related industrial systems including electrical systems, pumps, motors, PLC and CNC machinery, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and coolant systems. Responsibilities Respond to work orders and troubleshoot equipment issues. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment. Perform quality control checks on products. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Operate various production machines and tools. Maintain accurate records of production processes and results. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 5 to 7 years of experience performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial manufacturing process equipment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes, air handlers, and other equipment as required. Additional Information Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check to obtain a security badge. This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. Shift flexibility: various shifts, weekends, alternative work schedules, overtime, and holiday work may be required. Physical Requirements Regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Regularly climb ladders and stairs. Flexibility to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach, and move in a 90‑degree fashion on a repetitive basis during the shift. Walk extensively throughout the plant during the shift. Special Requirements Wear steel‑toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other personal protective equipment as needed.
